The Pittsburg Farmers Market will host Kid’s Day during their Grand Opening, Saturday, April 21, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. In honor of Earth Day, kids can create their own flower baskets made from recycled pop bottles. The activity will begin at 9:00 am and will continue until supplies run out.
Thirteen local vendors are expected to turn out for the event, selling fresh local produce, meat, farm fresh eggs, baked goods, and crafts for the community to enjoy. The market will also feature live music from 9:00 am – 11:00 am by Rob and Andrew Pommert.
